HighStreet 5 is a popular free-to-play online dance game where players can socialize, dress to the latest fashion and dance together to global music hits. The virtual city allows players to mingle with other players of the game.
The difference of HS5 and audition online are the game modes, some of the features like the stunt system etc and unlike audition, there are no rooms while playing. The character stays in the city while dancing in a battle.
Just like every online game, the updates depends on it's popularity. The more players play the game and purchase electronic cards. The more revenue the publisher receives, the more updates are being made to that game.

How to play
First of all, you'll need a PC with an established internet connection. You might want to check the PC requirements of the game on their website. Try to check if your PC is suitable for the game. A broadband/wifi connection with a fast speed is recommended. (Do a speed test. http://www.speedtest.net/). Highstreet5 has many features going on and it really needs a fast internet connection and a fast pc to have an effective gaming experience.
- Dowload and install the client. It can be downloaded on their website at the download page. Install after downloading. Don't rush or panic if the game haven't started when you installed it. There some updates that are still needed to be downloaded. So chill and wait. If you have problems installing it, just contact their customer service. Which is found on every HS5 website. (Alternatively, join the forums.)
- Register and log in- to log in, a username and a password is needed. Register at the correct website on where you have downloaded the client. You can see the register button, just click it.
- Starting up- you are first prompted in an area where you can customize your avatar. Name it and adjust it on how you want your avatar too look like.
- Do the tutorial mode- Never skip it if you're not familiar with HS5. On that mode, you are being taught by an NPC. Read and follow instructions carefully. If you still don't know or understand hot to play it. To make it easy for you, search on YOUTUBE, there are loads of HS5 videos there =]
- Dance and Battle- You can randomly dance and gain HP points. You can dance by yourself, with special some one or a group. Just click the dance button and choose what mode that is just right for you. If you want a battle, just click the battle button and choose a "waiting" room. And get ready to battle. On every batlle you have participated, an EXP points are gained and added to your exp. Just like in audition, keys used in HS5 for 4 keys, it could be the arrows or numbers 2,4,6,8 + space and for 8 keys: 12346789+space.
- Friends- the more you play, the more friends you get. Refer to my tips/advice section about How you must socialize while in-game.
There are loads of 1week items that are given to you by the GM's depending on how long you play it. That would be a great start for newbies to be familiar of the game.
